Hello, Thank you for your question. Here is how to make this aspect work. The area on the Space and Item page on the top is not the full-sized image that was uploaded. This area is designed to provide a quick visual cue to the user over which Space or Item they are navigating to, so that if they make edits to the field below it, they are making edits to the appropriate page. It is used more for navigational awareness over where the user is when going through their inventory. This is also designed because it has to work for a mobile, tablet or desktop device with different screen sizes. Click on the “Photos” tab to see the gallery of photos for that Space or Item (note: you can have multiple photos for any Space or Item). Then click on the photo itself, and you will see a maximize full-size view of the photo.

If you have a large collection of things, such as CDs, we recommend a few simple steps process. 1. Create a new Space and name it “CD Collection”. 2. Then, if you want an itemized inventory of each CD, we suggest you go to the “Item List” page, and click on the “+ Quick Add of New Item”. This expands the interface where you can enter in the name of each CD. A suggestion is to stick to a naming convention, such as “Artist Name - Album Name” 3. Then if you want, take a photo of each CD cover with your phone. 4. Then from the Home Inventory dashboard, choose “Add Photos and Docs” and bulk upload at once all the photos you have taken. 5. Optional ….. navigate to the Space, click on Videos, and take a video of the entire collection. For some more information on how you can use some of this information, let us provide some additional feedback. Based on both our consumer research directly with homeowners and with property managers who manage other people’s homes, the majority felt that sharing with the HomeZada app would be a trusted relationship where the other party can have full and transparent access to all the data in a property. In a consumer account, this sharing model was designed around sharing with a spouse, elderly parent, or other significant partner. In a professional account, this is where a homeowner client is paying a property manager to manage their house for them, and both parties wanted full access to the data inside a property. With a Professional account, there is the ability to share a specific property with either the specific client or an employee of the property management company. This provides the security model for the property manager to only share specific properties with that specific client or employee who manages the house and prevents other clients or employees from accessing that specific property. We have many property managers who manage multiple consumers homes and find this sharing security model to work quite well. As an alternate approach, HomeZada account holders can use various reports to print to PDF a subset of data such as maintenance tasks upcoming, or maintenance tasks completed, or an inventory of the home etc. This facilitates the sharing of a subset of data via PDF but does not share the entire property database. @@Homezada ok so no local real estate agent with local knowledge is involved nor any real specific property information and expert review of the property in question is received or considered and leveraged in the calculation and compilation of the CMA. This seems like a big omission and All the information that is used is readily available on free websites and one could just compile it themselves. What am I missing?

The best place to do this is to go to the Project page, click on the “Items” tab, and then click on ‘+ Add Project Item’ for these kinds of things. In the Item Name field, just enter in ‘Installation’ or ‘Labor’ or whatever. With the ‘Type’ field, there is ‘Labor’ and ‘Other” in the drop list. The user can also then enter a budget, or purchase price to be the cost field. Then click on the teal button called “Create” If the user wants to track more details, then they can click on the Project Item name, like ‘Installation’ or ‘Labor’ and drill down into more details where they can enter in quantity = 5 hour; unit rate of $100.00; total of $500.00. The can also use either the ‘Brand’ field or the ‘Company’ field to enter in a contractor’s name if they want. Let me know if you need anything else. Frances, You can add any type of document. Word, Excel, PDF, etc. You can simply add documents on each dashboard area of each application where there is a button that says, add documents. You can also drill into each item, task or project and add items specific to these areas of HomeZada. For instance, in each item you will see a tab that says Docs, you will then see a +Add Documents or a + on your mobile device. Simple add the document to that area. The problem is that the documents are shown as loaded on HomeZada, but when I click the document nothing is there. This is the same with the URL links. When I click the downloaded link, nothing appears.

Hello Frances. Here is what we think is happening. When you click on a document that has already been uploaded to HomeZada, the system essentially downloads the file back to your device. So if you are using a browser like Chrome, Safari, etc. the document you clicked on has been downloaded in a 'downloads' type of directory on your device. So most browsers will show the file that has been downloaded at the bottom of the browser. if you click on that, then you should be able to see the contents of your file. If you create a link, when you click on the link, it will typically open up a new tab on your browser to show you the contents of the link. Perhaps your browser is remaining on the HomeZada page, as opposed to showing you the new link you just clicked. If neither of these things help with your situation, we would be happy to schedule a time when you are available and at your machine with access to your HomeZada account and we can troubleshoot your situation over the phone.
